The rubber grips on the outside make it easy to hold on to and since it doesn't have a handle, it fits well in my car's cup slot. This mug is exactly what I was looking for. It's super easy to clean, it's easy to flip the top open for drinking with one hand and best of all, my beverage stays piping hot for hours. I've used several travel mugs and this one is easily the best I've ever owned. The price is right, too.
It still works okay, but just thought I should mention it.Overall, not bad. The rubber sleeve around my tumbler has gotten pretty loose with use.
As a few have already mentioned, this is not spill proof by any means.2. I've had my tumbler for a bit over a year now, and while it does quite well in the arena of keeping drinks hot, there are a few concerns.1.
Mine used to be the charcoal color, but now it is just spotted stainless.3. The "color" is actually more like a saran wrap than it is that the stainless is actually colored.
If you scratch it at all, it will peel. I always handwash it, so it's not from the dishwasher.
I'm not terribly dissatisfied with the product, but it's not particularly impressive either.
this is the best to go coffee cup ever. I tried others but they are nothing compared to these. I love it. I had 2 of these and lost one of them, the other I ran over. Finally i broke down and replaced my old ones. Why did i wait so long.
This cup will keep hot drinks extremely hot for 3+ hrs. You will never want/need any another cup.
We've had many different travel mugs over the years but the Thermos Nissan is in a class by itself. Top-rated by Cooks Illustrated, it keeps my morning latte piping hot and fits nicely into the cup holder in my truck. I also bought one for my husband and one for my son and we all love them.
